Traditional herbal medicine trained Vaidya Sangh set a world record

Traditional Vanaushadhi trained Vaidya Sangh Chhattisgarh Bilaspur has set a new record. The name of the Sangh has been recorded in the India Star Book of World and Limca Book of World Records. The Sangh has got this achievement for creating public awareness about medicinal plants in the state of Chhattisgarh. Home Herbal Garden Scheme is being run by Chhattisgarh Tribal Local Health Tradition and Medicine Plant Board under the guidance of Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar as per the intention of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. For the implementation of this scheme, a public awareness campaign was conducted by the traditional Vanaushadhi trained Vaidya Sangh, Chhattisgarh Bilaspur from August 15 to September 15, 2021. During this, people were made aware about 11 lakh 85 thousand 890 medicinal plants by visiting ten forest divisions from house to house. In this, through traditional doctors in the forest division Bilaspur, Marwahi, Katghora, Mungeli, Korba, Durg, Kawardha, Khairagarh, Rajnandgaon, Bemetara, Satavar, Bramhi, Tulsi, Kalmegh, Giloy, Mandupparni, Horseradish, Ashwagandha, Bach, Patharchatta, Adusa, Nirgundi , Stevia, Gudmar, Hadjod etc. Medicinal plants were prepared and informed about its importance and use. By distributing a total of 11 lakh 85 thousand 890 medicinal plants free of cost by the traditional herbal medicine trained Vaidya Sangh Chhattisgarh, the Vaidya Sangh established a record at the international level. Is. Provincial Secretary of Vaidya Sangh Chhattisgarh, Nirmal Kumar Awasthi said that six months of hard work was done by traditional Vaidyas for this world record. In order to make the record, the team constantly followed the guidelines of the officials of India Star of World Records and Limca Book of World Records and got them inspected their works. This felicitation ceremony was presented to the office bearers of Vaidya Sangh Chhattisgarh by Shri Balkrishna Pathak, President of Chhattisgarh Tribal Local Health Tradition and Medicine Plant Board Raipur today at Chhattisgarh Bhawan Bilaspur.
