Approval of 3.67 crores for the construction of Surhi river embankment:

Administrative Chief Engineer Mahanadi Godavari Cachar Raipur has been approved by the Ministry of Public Resources Department, Government of Chhattisgarh for the construction of embankments in Budhwara and Bhopara on Surhi river in Saja development block under Bemetara district. The work of embankment protection will be done on Surhi river at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 12 lakh 87 thousand in Budhwara and Rs. 1 crore 55 lakh 50 lakh in Bhojepara.
