Benefit of beneficiary oriented schemes should reach maximum people: Shri Dhanesh Patila

The review of the beneficiary oriented schemes run by the Chhattisgarh State Intermediate Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation was done today in the meeting room located at Indravati Bhawan. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Dhanesh Patila, Chairman, Chhattisgarh State Intermediate Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation. In the meeting, the Vice-Chairman of the Corporation, Ms. Neeta Lodhi, Member Mr. Vijay Baghel, Managing Director Mrs. Shammi Abidi and Secretary Mr. R.S. Bhoi was also present. Mr. Dhanesh Patila stressed on taking maximum benefits of the schemes being run by the Chhattisgarh State Intermediate Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation to the common people and giving wide publicity to the schemes. He directed to complete the target set under the Antyodaya Self-Employment Scheme at the earliest. The representatives present in the meeting suggested that the limit of income certificate should be increased to the minimum limit of 50 thousand, online software should be prepared for loan recovery and document related information. Arrangements should be made for seizure and reallocation of vehicles, viewing the score of banking transactions before giving loans, giving grants in the schemes of national corporations like other departments, taking NOC from State Inter-business Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation before giving loans by banks, etc. Major suggestions were given. Apart from this, it was also suggested that the bylaws should be amended to make provision for re-loaning to repay the loan taken by a person in full. Information about loan recovery, progress of Antyodaya and tribal self-employment scheme, progress of street vendor scheme, progress of audit in districts, updated status of training centers etc. were reviewed in detail. District wise review was taken in the meeting. Surguja, Kondagaon, Kanker, Bastar and Raipur districts have done relatively good job in debt recovery. Instructions were given to make improvements in other districts at the earliest. For this, emphasis was laid on revenue officers and continuous inspection in their area, personal contact and debt recovery. In reviewing the street vendor scheme, work done by Dantewada, Durg, Surguja, Koriya and Kondagaon was praised and other districts were instructed to improve in this direction.
