किसानों और ग्रामीणों का सर्वांगीण विकास है राज्य सरकार की पहली प्राथमिकता: मंत्री श्रीमती भेंड़िया

The Minister of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Smt. Anila Bhendia, during her stay in the district in-charge of Dhamtari today inaugurated the construction works on a large scale in the Gram Panchayat Madeli of Kurud block. He inaugurated 13 construction works worth one crore 19 lakh 14 thousand here. This includes construction work of CC road, drain, Haat Bazar shed, community toilet and mini stadium. Addressing the villagers on this occasion, he said that under the leadership of Chhattisgarh’s Matiputra Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, all sections are developing. The first priority of the state government is to develop the poor, farmers and villagers. He said that many schemes like Suraji Gaon Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana have brought about a radical change in the condition and direction of the state. On this occasion, Smt. Bhendia visited the nutrition exhibition put up by the Department of Women and Child Development and appreciated the exhibition. Various traditional Chhattisgarhi delicacies and 36 types of protein, vitamin-rich vegetables were displayed by the local Anganwadi workers in the exhibition. Along with this, by presenting nutritious baskets to pregnant women, he explained them to proper diet and fed kheer to the little ones and made them eat food. Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Chhaya Verma, District Panchayat President Smt. Kanti Sonwani, who were present as special guests in the program, also addressed the villagers. On this occasion, Vice-Chairman of Chhattisgarh Scheduled Tribes Commission, Ms. Rajkumari Dewan, Member of State Agricultural Welfare Council, Mrs. Shashi Gaur, Zilla Panchayat members Mrs. Tarini Chandrakar, Mr. Govind Sahu, Mrs. Suman Sahu along with former MLA of Kurud Assembly Constituency Mr. Lekhram Sahu, Janpad Panchayat President of Kurud Mrs. Sharda Sahu, local Sarpanch, Panch and villagers were present.
