Kondagaon On Wednesday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated 84 Shree Dhanwantri Generic Medical Stores in the state through video conferencing from his Raipur residence office. Through this video conferencing, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed Shree Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store at Mardapal Chowk in Kondagaon district headquarters. On this occasion, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma, School Education Minister Dr. Prem Sai Singh Tekam and local MLA Mohan Markam also attended from Raipur. In this ceremony, Rajya Sabha MP Phulodevi Netam, District Panchayat President Devchand Matlam, District Panchayat President Shivlal Mandavi, Municipal President Hemkunwar Patel, District Panchayat Vice President Bhagwati Patel along with Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena, District Panchayat CEO Premprakash Sharma, ASP Rahuldev Sharma and other officers attended the function. With this commendable initiative, the expenditure on medicines will be reduced in the treatment of every citizen. Generic medicines are cheap and effective. Due to which every poor person will be able to get the right to treatment at the lowest rates. It should be known that quality medicines will be available to the consumers at affordable rates through Shree Dhanwantri Generic Medical Stores. Consumers will get the benefit of minimum 50.09 percent and maximum 71 percent discount on the MRP of medicines. Home kit and travel kit of medicines were also launched. This kit will be available for sale at Shree Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store. The home kit of medicines priced at Rs 691 will be available in these medical stores at Rs 290 and the travel kit which costs Rs 311 will be available at Rs 130. In the coming time, a plan has been made by the government to start 190 medical stores in 169 cities of the state. * Dhanwantri generic stores will be operated in all the three urban bodies of the district. * Under this scheme run by the Urban Administration and Development Department, the three urban bodies of the district Shree Dhanwantri generic medical stores have been opened in In which at Mardapal Chowk in Kondagaon, newly constructed bus stand in Keshkal and shop no. in Janpad Panchayat Complex in Farasgaon. This store will be operated in 02. By visiting these, any person can get generic medicines of reputed medicines at low prices. These medicines are cheap as well as quality. It will be mandatory to sell 251 types of generic medicines and 27 surgical products in these medical stores. Apart from this, Sanjeevani products of Forest Department, cosmetics products and baby food etc. will also be sold. The generic medicines available from these medical stores will be from 20 branded companies.
