Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, from his residence office this evening, interacted with the stranded passengers of Bhilai in Uttarakhand through phone and inquired about their well being. The Chief Minister said that you all do not need to worry about anything. Necessary arrangements have been made by the state government for the safe return of all of you. Senior officers of Chhattisgarh state and Durg Collector are in constant contact with the officials of Nainital administration and are constantly discussing with them about your well being. The Chief Minister said that as soon as I got the information about you all being trapped in Kainchidham due to landslide in Uttarakhand, I had directed the Chief Secretary and District Administration Durg to take all possible initiatives for your safety and safe return. During the discussion with the Chief Minister, the passengers told that they are completely safe. The administration has made arrangements for the stay and food etc. of all of us. The passengers thanked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the prompt efforts made by the Chhattisgarh government for their safety and safe return and said that special care is being taken of all of us here with your initiative. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel spoke one by one to Bhilai residents of Chhattisgarh, Roohi Mishra, Anita Mishra, Lata, Sunidhi, Shreesha, Dhriti and Praise, etc., and talked about their early safe return. Significantly, due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, landslides and traffic have been disrupted.
