The Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Chhattisgarh Government has allocated an amount of Rs 70 crore 52 lakh from the State Disaster Fund to provide financial grant assistance to the dependents of the persons who died due to Kovid-19. Secretary of Revenue Department and Relief Commissioner Ms. Rita Shandilya has issued a letter to all the district collectors of the state and directed them to ensure the distribution of grant-in-aid through DBT or the bank account of the concerned beneficiary dependent. The allocated amount for providing grant-in-aid to the dependents of persons who died from Kovid-19 includes Rs 16 crore 48 lakh for Raipur district, Rs 2 crore 86 lakh for Dhamtari, Rs one crore two lakh for Gariaband, Rs. One crore 91 lakh 50 thousand rupees have been allocated for Balodabazar district and two crore 47 lakh rupees have been allocated for Durg district. Similarly, for Durg district, 9 crore 43 lakh 50 thousand rupees, for Rajnandgaon two crore 70 lakh 50 thousand rupees, Balod Two crore 8 lakh rupees have been allocated for the project, one crore 24 lakh rupees for Bemetara and one crore 40 lakh rupees for Kabirdham district. Rs 6 crore 33 lakh 50 thousand for Bilaspur, Rs 5 crore 13 lakh 50 thousand for Raigarh, Rs 3 crore 4 lakh for Korba, Rs 4 crore 37 lakh 50 thousand for Janjgir-Champa, Rs 87 lakh 50 thousand for Mungeli Rs. 92 lakh 50 thousand rupees have been allocated for Korea district, one crore 17 lakh 50 thousand rupees for Surajpur, 62 lakh rupees for Balrampur and one crore 11 lakh 50 thousand rupees for Jashpur district. Similarly, Rs.98 lakh 50 thousand for Bastar district, Rs.52 lakh for Kondagaon, Rs.12 lakh 50 thousand for Dantewada, Rs.10 lakh 50 thousand for Sukma, Rs.1 crore 17 lakh for Kanker, 7 for Narayanpur.
