उर्वरक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम एवं कृषक वैज्ञानिक परिचर्चा का आयोजन

On the completion of five years of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system in fertilizers under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi on October 11, 2021 in Kondagaon district, a one-day “Fertilizer Awareness Program and Farmer Scientific Discussion” was organized for sustainable balanced use of fertilizers. The center was organized under the joint aegis of Agriculture Department, Balaji Phosphate Group, Ostwal Group of Industries, District Co-operative Bank, whose chief guest Mr. Devchand Matlam, District Panchayat President Kondagaon gave fertilizers and organic fertilizers to the farmers of the district to protect the health of the soil. Asked for balanced use of manure and appreciated the production of earthworm manure. Shri D.K. Ramteke, Deputy Director Agriculture provided information about Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), PoS and purchase of fertilizers through digital transactions. Dr. Omprakash Senior Scientist and Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Kondagaon gave information about Integrated Nutrient Management to the farmers and explained in detail about the use and importance of single super phosphate fertilizer on crops, reducing the cost of fertilizers. Dr. Hitesh Mishra Scientist asked for balanced use of manure and fertilizers on the basis of soil health card so that plants get proper nutrients and there is no adverse effect on environment and human health. In the program, the government grant by Shri Ram Singh Balaji Phosphate Group Manager, Raipur was distributed to the farmers by DBT. Directly giving benefits through the medium was discussed in detail. In agricultural scientific discussion, adverse effects on crops due to use of unbalanced fertilizers, importance of soil testing in soil health improvement and crop nutrition, seed treatment by biofertilizers, use of green manure, earthworm manure, use of nadep compost, agricultural activities of weather forecast In this discussion was held with the farmers on topics like importance etc. In this program, special guest Mrs. Pramila Markam, Chairperson Agriculture Standing Committee and Ms. Manita Netam, District Panchayat member were involved and Faiz Mohammad Khan Nodal District Co-operative Bank, Mr. Ritesh Chakse Ostwal Group of Industries Manager Raipur, Mr. Tilakchand Patel along with District Marketing Office- Along with this 110 farmers from all the development blocks of the district actively participated.
