The quality of the products here is very good and they have good export potential. State Head of Chhattisgarh Industrial and Technical Culture Center (Citron) Mr. PK Nimonkar said that Chhattisgarh is a land lock state, if there is no port here If there are some problems, the opportunities are equally high. This area is protected from external encroachment, war-like calamities and there are facilities for trade and transportation all around. He emphasized on setting up of export cell in the state with the help of government administration and private sectors and industry associations etc. He said ‘no risk-no gain’. There are about two hundred products of Non Timber Forest Produce, which is the highest in the country. 35 percent of the country’s steel is in Chhattisgarh and now Chhattisgarh’s steel rate runs all over the country. Mr. Kalpataru Behera, Manager, Export Promotion Capital Goods Raipur (EPCG) said that it was formed in collaboration with the Government of India. This organization is operated in Raipur.
