District Development Coordination and Evaluation Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of Lok Sabha MP

A meeting of the District Development Coordination and Evaluation Committee (DISHA) was held today under the chairmanship of Lok Sabha MP Shri Chunilal Sahu to review the implementation of various schemes of the Central Government in the district. The meeting was held in the meeting room of the Zilla Panchayat. MP Shri Sahu talked about working in coordination with the district level officers of various departments for the betterment of the people of the district and the best implementation of the welfare schemes of the Center and for the overall development of the district.
He held detailed discussions with the officers of various departments and asked the officers of the departments to execute the work with full accountability and punctuality. Collector Mr. Doman Singh apprised the Lok Sabha MP Mr. Chunilal Sahu about the various construction work plans, activities and progress going on in the district under various schemes at the beginning of the meeting. Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Shri Akash Chhikara told the activities of various departments through power presentation. District Panchayat President Mr. Usha Patel, former MLAs Mr. Ramlal Chauhan and Mrs. Roopkumari Chaudhary, public representatives and Deputy Collector Mrs. Seema Thakur, Ms. Pooja Bansal and district level officers of various departments were present in the meeting. Kovid guidelines were followed in the meeting.
Emphasizing on continuous monitoring of the works under construction in the district, Lok Sabha MP Shri Sahu said that many public welfare schemes are being run by the Central Government for the betterment of the people and to empower them economically and socially. It is the responsibility of the officers of every department to make successful implementation of the schemes of the Center with complete transparency. Along with this, he urged the people’s representatives to complete the works of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in remote areas at the earliest and convince the people. Especially in the inner rural areas of the block.
Along with this, he also inquired about the difficulties being faced in the implementation of the incomplete works. He inquired about the beneficiaries of various pension schemes of social security. He talked about making women self-reliant and working for their self-reliance. Both the Health and Education Departments were asked to take forward the work of complete immunization of children by working in coordination. Lok Sabha MP inquired about the status of malnutrition in the district. He thanked the public including all the officers, employees and public representatives along with the doctors and health staff of the Health Department for prevention and control of corona infection in the district and congratulated them for doing good work. He said that Corona is not over yet. We all need to be alert and act. Mr. Sahu said that he urged people to get vaccinated and to make people aware not to fall under any illusions or rumours. He also appealed to the general public that the eligible persons must get the vaccine of Kovid, keep themselves and their families and the society safe from this epidemic.
