Black fungus raised concern, so far 259 confirmed in Chhattisgarh, 21 killed,

Cases of black fungus are increasing in Chhattisgarh. So far 21 patients have died during treatment in the state. The maximum number of 67 patients have been reported in Durg district.
According to government data, 259 patients of black fungus have been confirmed in the state so far. Out of these, maximum 67 patients have been reported in Durg. Here 48 patients have been confirmed in Raipur, 33 in Bilaspur, 21 in Raigarh, 16 in Rajnandgaon and 14 in Janjgir-Champa.
Apart from AIIMS Raipur, treatment of patients is going on in Sims in Bilaspur. Doctors have predicted an increase in the number of patients in the coming days.
