Food Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat today inspected the under construction warehouse Godown at Belkota-Batauli under Sitapur block area of Surguja district. He directed the officers to complete the construction work in quality and in time-limit.
It is worth mentioning that the Godown is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 9 crore 28 lakh in an area of 8.33 acres. With the construction of Godown, storage will start in the coming Kharif season. Minister Shri Bhagat said that once the warehouse is constructed, there will be safe storage of paddy purchased in support price. Also, the local people will get employment opportunities.
