Amid escalating global conflicts and soaring prices in India, ‘Ramayan’ star Sunil Lahri took to Instagram with a stirring appeal for rationality and resilience. In his Monday video, the actor lamented the worldwide unrest, particularly in the Middle East, which has triggered fuel shortages and inflation back home.
‘The globe is in turmoil because of wars affecting numerous nations, including ours,’ Sunil stated firmly. He directly confronted critics: ‘Certain so-called intellectuals pin this on our government and PM. How can they be blamed for foreign wars we’re not part of?’
Sunil didn’t shy away from the hardships. ‘Yes, oil, gas, and petrol supplies from the Middle East are delayed, jacking up costs,’ he admitted. But he warned against knee-jerk reactions like strikes or blame-shifting. ‘That won’t help. We need solutions.’
Turning to actionable advice, he focused on household thrift. ‘Make your LPG cylinder last longer—aim for 45 days instead of 30. Use minimal oil in cooking, incorporate raw veggies and fruits for better wellness.’
On transportation, his call was clear: ‘Carpool with neighbors or colleagues going your way. One car or bike for multiple people saves petrol-diesel, cuts costs, and eases national burden.’
In a poignant close, Sunil implored, ‘Employ your wisdom, ignore instigators. Protect your family, embrace joy, health, and safety. Jai Ram Ji.’ His post caption echoed: ‘Wars have tensed the world—avoid distractions, proceed with sense and serenity.’
As inflation bites harder, Sunil’s practical wisdom offers a beacon for everyday Indians navigating economic pressures with grace.
