Delhi Police’s Crime Branch scored a decisive win against drug peddlers with the arrest of long-time fugitive Krishna Rathore Kana from Uttam Nagar. The operation underscores the force’s unwavering resolve to dismantle narcotics rings operating in the national capital region.
Rathore was on the run after being declared a fugitive by the Dwarka court’s Special NDPS Judge on February 20, 2026, linked to ganja distribution cases. On March 5, SI Kuldeep Singh’s WR-II unit received a tip-off and swiftly cordoned off the area around Om Vihar Phase-1 in Uttam Nagar, nabbing the accused red-handed.
The pursuit was led by Inspector Gautam Malik, with dedicated officers including Head Constable Pawan Hooda, Bhavar, Constable Mukesh, and Tinku. The suspect’s constant relocation had prolonged the manhunt, but persistence paid off.
In custody, Rathore revealed his deep ties to a structured gang sourcing ganja from various points and supplying it throughout Delhi-NCR. A Kannauj native with a Class 10 education from a UP government school, he was lured into crime by anti-social elements while living with his family in Uttam Nagar.
Driven by the allure of fast cash, he built a lucrative drug supply business. Authorities have launched a targeted probe into his associates, deploying a dedicated squad to neutralize the entire operation. This high-profile apprehension disrupts a vital link in the cross-state drug pipeline, signaling stronger enforcement against substance abuse in Delhi.
