Greater Noida witnessed a healthcare revolution as UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the KDSG Super Specialty Hospital in Dadri on Thursday. Accompanied by cricket legend Kapil Dev and local MP Mahesh Sharma, the CM not only cut the ribbon but also delved deep into the hospital’s operations during an extensive walkthrough.
Yogi’s speech captivated the audience with a sporting metaphor. Referencing Kapil Dev’s intimidating presence on the cricket pitch, he illustrated how a doctor’s confident demeanor can psychologically heal patients. ‘Confidence turns the tide; pair it with medicine and prayer, and miracles happen,’ he remarked, linking it to enhanced patient outcomes and institutional prestige.
Positioning the hospital as a game-changer for NCR, Yogi stressed accessible advanced care. He reiterated the state’s health push, from expanding AIIMS nationwide to UP’s medical college boom—from 17 to 81 facilities. The Rs 200 crore project boasts 300 beds with specialties like cardiology, oncology, and neurology, plus state-of-the-art surgical tech.
Lauding Ayushman Bharat’s reach—60 crore beneficiaries, 5 crore golden cards in UP for Rs 5 lakh free coverage—Yogi called for equitable pricing between public and private sectors. ‘Transparency and competition will make quality care affordable,’ he asserted. The hospital promises 1,000 jobs, fueling local employment.
Kapil Dev hailed the initiative, vowing to make KDSG a beacon for UP healthcare, projecting the state’s prowess domestically and internationally. This inauguration underscores UP’s transformation into a healthcare hub under Yogi’s leadership.
