In a star-studded affair at Mumbai’s St. Regis hotel, Arjun Tendulkar, heir to Sachin Tendulkar’s cricketing throne, married Sania Chandok, a rising star in entrepreneurship. The Thursday ceremony drew Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, who extended warm wishes for the couple’s future.
Posting on X, Fadnavis shared, ‘Attended Arjun and Sania’s wedding in Mumbai today. Joyful to witness the start of their new journey. Congratulations to Sachin Tendulkar, his family, and the bride and groom on this happy day.’
Joining him was Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, who offered floral tributes and posted, ‘Blessed to attend the wedding of cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun and Sania at St. Regis. Shared best wishes with CM Fadnavis by my side.’
Aaditya Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT) chimed in: ‘Big congrats to Arjun and Sania! May your shared path be filled with love and happiness.’
Their engagement was a low-key affair in August 2025, but wedding buzz built steadily from March 2026. Arjun, a promising all-rounder, represents Goa in domestic circuits and switched to IPL’s Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the new season post-Mumbai Indians.
Sania hails from Mumbai’s business elite as granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai of Grivas Group. Her passion lies in pet care and animal welfare, where she excels as a vet tech and businesswoman.
The event highlighted cross-sector camaraderie, with dignitaries celebrating the union of two dynamic individuals poised for great things.
