In a bold prediction amid Bihar’s political buzz, state minister Santosh Suman claimed the NDA alliance is poised to clinch all five Rajya Sabha seats in the forthcoming polls. The statement came during an interaction with the media in Gaya, underscoring the coalition’s dominant position.
Suman pointed to the NDA’s solid majority in the legislative assembly as the key factor. “The Rajya Sabha equation is clear – our numbers ensure victory on all five seats. Candidate announcements from our side are imminent,” he noted, without revealing specifics.
The opposition Mahagathbandhan remains tight-lipped on its nominees, though whispers suggest RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav could enter the fray, adding intrigue to the contest.
Addressing global worries, the minister updated on efforts to rescue Indians caught in the Iran-Israel hostilities. PM Modi’s high-level meeting has kickstarted comprehensive diplomatic channels, with air evacuation expected imminently. “Like we did in Ukraine, we’ll bring everyone back safe – no family in Bihar should be anxious,” Suman urged.
Labeling the Middle East flare-up, including US involvement, as regrettable, he emphasized India’s commitment to its citizens’ welfare.
Wrapping up, Suman wished everyone on Holika Dahan, hailing it as a beacon of virtue prevailing over vice. “Let this festival infuse lives with happiness, tranquility, and abundance,” he prayed, marking the cultural highlight of the season.
