In a vibrant display of cultural heritage, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will headline Gorakhpur’s Bhakt Prahlad Shobha Yatra this Monday evening, heightening the excitement for Holi. Hosted at Pandayhata by the Holika Dahan Utsav Committee, the procession is all set for a grand launch.
The Chief Minister will lead the rituals, offering aarti to the revered devotee Prahlad, splashing colors of flowers and gulal, and sending off the yatra with warm festival wishes to the gathered crowds.
Sources indicate Yogi will grace another procession dedicated to Lord Narsingh on March 4. The local administration has orchestrated comprehensive arrangements for both occasions.
DM Deepak Meena noted the tradition of CM’s programs at Ghantaghar during Holi, with routes pre-vetted and security airtight. Police are fully mobilized.
SSP Dr. Kaustubh detailed enhanced precautions in the ongoing heritage corridor construction zone. With the leader walking part of the way to connect with people, pathways are primed, and drones will provide aerial oversight for seamless safety.
This edition of the yatra is poised to be an unforgettable spectacle, with flawless planning for traffic, crowds, and festivities. Residents are encouraged to partake responsibly, letting the colors of Holi paint the city in joy and unity.
