As Iran-US conflict intensifies, JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha has directly engaged with Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar to address the plight of thousands of Indians, including many from Bihar, stuck in Gulf nations. With airports grounded and tensions soaring, families in India are on tenterhooks receiving panicked calls from relatives abroad.
Jha advised all Indian expatriates to stay put at home while diplomatic channels work overtime with Gulf leaders. “The Centre is watching every development closely. Evacuations will commence once it’s safe,” he assured. The Bihar government remains in lockstep with New Delhi to bring its citizens home.
On a celebratory note, Jha praised Nitish Kumar’s birthday as a milestone for Bihar’s renaissance. Recalling the pre-2005 chaos of abductions and industrial exodus, he credited Kumar’s leadership for instilling investor confidence and propelling the state forward. “Bihar’s voters are discerning; they trust Nitish ji’s proven track record over two decades.”
Slamming detractors who once painted Bihar negatively, Jha pointed out how Kumar reversed the tide. “No one invests without faith in law and order—something absent before him. Get ready for Bihar to lead in investments over the next half-decade,” he declared, extending warm birthday wishes.
