Jindal Global University welcomed 40 deans and top academics from 24 premier institutions for the Law Schools Global League (LSGL) Dean Meeting and Academic Conference 2026. Held over four dynamic days in Sonipat, the event zeroed in on ‘Law and the Digital Future: Reimagining Global Legal Education,’ dissecting how AI and digital innovations are reshaping the foundations of law, practice, and teaching.

Law schools bear the responsibility to harness innovation for democratic fortification, justice accessibility, and human dignity preservation.’ He advocated for cross-border synergies to cultivate globally competent, technologically adept, and morally grounded legal professionals.
Executive Dean Professor (Dr.) Deepika Jain, alongside Professors Soledad Atienza and Eleanor Lozano, set the tone with addresses stressing tech-inclusive legal evolution. Professor Jain declared, ‘AI transcends tech—it’s a socio-political force. Law schools must champion Global South and decolonial viewpoints for a pluralistic digital landscape over power consolidation.’

The agenda progressed to LSGL advancements and geopolitical panels featuring global experts, followed by the academic conference’s keynotes on AI’s legal profession ripple effects.
