In Mumbai on Wednesday, Shiv Sena’s Manisha Kayande unleashed a blistering attack on Rahul Gandhi, claiming his overseas visits are nothing but missions to discredit India on the world stage. This comes in the wake of PM Modi’s highly praised Israel trip, which Kayande lauded for its focus on national advancement.
‘PM Modi travels to contribute to India’s progress, while Rahul Gandhi jets off to damage our reputation,’ Kayande told IANS. She pointed out that Gandhi, holding the key opposition post in Parliament, has been unmasked by the electorate for his pattern of behavior abroad.
Kayande elevated Modi’s stature, calling him a ‘world leader’ whose influence transcends borders. The public, she added, is no longer fooled by Gandhi’s antics.
Addressing Trump’s wild comment on Pakistan’s leadership in conflict scenarios, Kayande branded him a ‘deceiver’ who spreads unfounded rumors. ‘Trump needs to quit confusing the globe,’ she stated firmly.
Regarding the heated cricket debate over fielding Siraj and Shami in the T20 World Cup – a demand amplified by AIMIM following India’s Super 8 loss to South Africa – Kayande deferred to experts. ‘Cricket isn’t my domain; that’s for BCCI to decide,’ she remarked, underscoring the tough road ahead for the team.
