Germany, February 24: Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for a technological revolution as Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya forged strategic alliances with leading German drone innovators during a key visit. At the forefront was Quantum-Systems GmbH, where detailed deliberations paved the way for advanced drone and aerospace manufacturing in the state.
‘Quantum-based innovations will build UP’s new industrial bedrock,’ Maurya asserted, underscoring the role of drones and unmanned systems in future economies and national security. The company’s tech, proven in military operations across Europe, offers extended-range surveillance platforms ideal for defense, farming, surveying, and emergency response.
Representatives from Helsing, Droneivo, SIA Origin Robotics, and Aronia AG also pitched their expertise in AI combat drones, robotics, and detection systems, expressing keen interest in UP partnerships. The state government rolled out an official invite for manufacturing units and R&D centers, sealing commitments on long-term cooperation in training, tech transfer, and skill-building.
Maurya’s vision paints UP as a frontrunner in defense and aerospace, fueled by seamless logistics, policy incentives, and a massive talent pool. Integrating electronics, data, AI, and drones, the state is accelerating tech-led industrial expansion. This collaboration not only fortifies India’s self-reliance but elevates UP to a global innovation nexus, generating employment waves for the next generation.
