Talkatora Stadium in Delhi became the epicenter of hope for Bihar’s future as the Bihar Development Summit 2026, part of the Let’s Inspire Bihar initiative, brought together political heavyweights, entrepreneurs, and global delegates. This landmark event resonated nationally, focusing on building a prosperous Bihar in sync with Viksit Bharat @2047.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh lit the ceremonial lamp, joined by Bihar’s Deputy CM Vijay Sinha and Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal. Led by IPS Vikas Vaibhav, the summit featured inspiring speeches and performances that set a tone of optimism and action.
Cultural highlights included soulful renditions by Deepak Thakur and Neetu Kumari Nutan, alongside poetry from Dr. Tishya Shri and others, weaving Bihar’s rich heritage into the narrative of progress.
Vaibhav, in his keynote, thanked the leaders and revealed staggering participation: 5,000 registered attendees, including internationals. He traced LIB’s evolution from a trio’s pledge in 2021 to a movement with 3.5 lakh adherents. Sharing tales of Bihari stigma during his Bhopal days, he rallied against it by celebrating ancient legacies and called for unity beyond caste, religion, or gender.
‘Change begins at home—Bihar’s sons and daughters must drive it,’ Vaibhav urged, pushing for entrepreneurial ecosystems from villages to curb out-migration. He commended Sinha’s land dispute resolutions as key to industrial growth.
Giriraj Singh positioned Bihar as indispensable to India’s rise, highlighting sectors like textiles and MSMEs for job creation. He hailed LIB as a disciplined citizen-led drive transforming personal zeal into nationwide momentum.
Sinha praised Vaibhav’s vision for fostering social harmony and economic independence, detailing government reforms for clear land titles to attract investments. Jaiswal emphasized parallel advances in industry and infrastructure, aligning LIB’s district-level startup goals with state policies.
Since its inception, LIB has empowered 350,000 volunteers, run free schools in 16 districts, and inspired 103 NRIs to contribute to their roots. Targeting an entrepreneurship revolution, it eyes 5 startups per district by 2028. Upcoming events signal its growth into a structured national platform for Bihar’s renaissance.
