This high-intensity campaign focused on curbing narcotics smuggling and bootlegging through rigorous Narcotics Act and Excise enforcement. Police deployed across zones for intensive frisking and surprise searches, leveraging real-time intel and strategic planning to net the culprits.
Noida division’s DCP Yamuna Prasad oversaw checks on 5,338 suspects, resulting in 30 cases, 32 arrests, 56 kg ganja, and 235.8 liters liquor seized. In Central Noida, DCP Shakti Mohan Awasthi’s teams vetted 2,172 individuals, booked 18 FIRs, arrested 18, and grabbed 18 kg ganja with 97.2 liters alcohol.
Greater Noeda, commanded by DCP Saad Miya Khan, scanned 2,773 people, registered 33 offences, apprehended 34, and recovered 12 kg ganja alongside 137 liters illicit brew. The blitz covered 10,283 verifications, 81 FIRs, and 84 detentions in total.
This operation signals zero tolerance for vice peddlers. Officials call on the public to aid in building a narcotics-free community by tipping off via 112 or local police, promising sustained offensives for public safety.
