In a major boost to e-governance, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched cyber registration facilities covering more than 75 essential services, making the state the first in India to achieve this milestone.
Speaking at the inauguration in Bhopal, Yadav credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance for the state’s focus on transparent and innovative administration. The new Cyber Registration Office builds on the foundations of Sampada 1.0 and 2.0, introducing seamless digital processes for registrations.
From mining leases and affidavits to partnership deeds and powers of attorney, over 75 services are now accessible online. This shift to paperless operations not only cuts costs but also champions environmental sustainability and accountability.
The CM detailed how property transfers for housing boards and development authorities will now occur digitally via video conferencing, eliminating physical visits. Video KYC ensures secure verification, optimizing time and resources for citizens.
Madhya Pradesh’s e-governance journey is impressive: 14.95 lakh documents registered, Cyber Tehsil in 55 districts, and Sampada 2.0 enabling revenue-related services like partitions and mutations.
Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda praised the 2024-25 upgrade to Sampada 2.0, which digitizes property registrations without requiring office visits for many documents. This innovation promises faster, cleaner, and more accessible government services across the state.
