Intense political sparring unfolded in New Delhi when BJP parliamentarians lambasted Rahul Gandhi, declaring that untruths have seized control of his thought process. They portrayed his career as one defined by relentless misinformation campaigns.
In an interview, Praveen Khandelwal, a vocal BJP MP, unveiled what he called Congress’s blueprint for disruption. As India surges under Modi’s leadership and rejects opposition in polls, ‘Rahul and his party aim to confuse citizens on all fronts,’ he charged.
On the contentious India-US trade pact, Khandelwal rebutted Congress claims head-on. The government has repeatedly vowed to protect national and farmers’ interests, yet ‘Congress persists with baseless accusations and deceitful narratives,’ he said.
Khandelwal went personal: ‘Falsehoods dominate Rahul Gandhi’s psyche entirely. Expected maturity from an opposition leader is absent; instead, his speeches and appearances peddle confusion—pure Congress DNA.’
Yogendra Chandolia piled on, ridiculing Gandhi’s farmer credentials. ‘He has no clue about agriculture—thinks potatoes are factory-made. Farmers mean nothing to this politician who’s mismatched for the game,’ he jabbed.
Shifting to cricket, the MPs linked national pride. Khandelwal boasted, ‘From war fields to cricket grounds, India will demolish Pakistan, sending a clear message of our unmatched excellence.’
Chandolia offered team support, stressing boundaries. ‘Politics and sports are distinct, but against foe Pakistan, India crushes without flinching—in battle or on the field.’
These barbs highlight BJP’s aggressive counter to Congress’s narrative, framing the tussle as truth versus fabrication in India’s vibrant democracy.
