In a strategic move to bolster its ranks, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva led a high-level meeting Saturday to lock in plans for the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Campaign 2026. Launching March 7 across India, the drive carries the motto ‘Capable Cadre, Powerful Party,’ targeting comprehensive worker upskilling.
Shiv Prakash, BJP’s national co-organization secretary, spearheaded the discussion, briefing 132 handpicked cadres on the program’s significance. Covering 14 critical topics—from ideology to outreach— the curriculum has dedicated Delhi coordinators set to train in Chandigarh this week.
Sachdeva announced intensive mandal-level workshops from March 7 through April 14 in all 256 units, scaling up to district and state tiers thereafter. This tiered rollout ensures every worker gains skills to strengthen the organizational fabric.
Meanwhile, CM Rekha Gupta honored RSS pioneer Dr. Hedgewar by unveiling his statue in Shahdara. Her speech underscored how his mission of societal organization via character development laid the groundwork for India’s cultural renaissance, now embodied in a vast service-oriented network.
Observers note this timing aligns with BJP’s proactive stance amid political shifts. The training push not only equips cadres for immediate tasks but also fosters long-term loyalty and efficiency, positioning Delhi BJP as a model for national chapters.
