Haryana Police’s ASI Jitendra Singh emerged as a standout, his masterful rides earning accolades and qualifying India officially, as per the International Tent Pegging Federation. DGP Ajay Singhla hailed the feat as a beacon for young aspirants, emphasizing the riders’ dedication and the force’s sports ethos.
Credit also to consultant Brigadier (Retd) Sandeep Singh Kashyap for sharpening the team’s edge through rigorous training. Looking ahead, Singhla predicts more triumphs, cementing India’s place in the sport.
Event highlights included a silver in Lance events, gold in Sword, and bronze in Rings, culminating in an overall bronze. Dhanraj Sirsat’s individual medals – bronze in Lance, silver in Sword – added sparkle, supported by Jitendra Singh, Sandeep Singh, and LD Bonge Ganesh Baliram’s electrifying performances.
