Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for a budgetary milestone with the presentation of its biggest budget yet in the assembly tomorrow. Described as epoch-making by Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, the document aims to supercharge infrastructure development and clear the backlog of stalled initiatives.
Speaking candidly, Pathak revealed that the budget prioritizes enhancing the quality of life for ordinary citizens, especially the underprivileged. It’s a concrete move to actualize the ‘Developed India’ vision outlined by the central leadership. The allocations meticulously address key electoral commitments to the populace.
Turning his guns on rivals, Pathak declared the opposition bankrupt of ideas. ‘Their mindset was to stifle UP’s growth; we’ve flipped the script with visionary governance,’ he charged.
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna detailed the budget’s broad-based welfare measures, targeting women, farmers, the young, deprived groups, and workers. A major thrust on capital expenditure is expected to ignite job creation. ‘This is a budget for every individual,’ Khanna affirmed, appealing to opponents for bipartisan support.
‘Yogi government’s efforts have been honest in ensuring equity across society,’ he noted. Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh praised the fiscal strategy, pointing to remarkable strides in tourism under Modi and Yogi since 2017. ‘UP’s trajectory has shifted dramatically; this budget sustains that upward surge toward prosperity,’ Singh observed.
