In a heartwarming display of sustained philanthropy, Adani Mangal Seva has successfully wrapped up its inaugural year by providing life-changing support to 500 differently-abled women. Each recipient received a Rs 10 lakh fixed deposit, ensuring monthly payouts and future security.
The journey began on February 5 last year when Diva Adani and Jeet Adani announced the initiative during their wedding vows, pledging social security for disabled women. Under the Adani Foundation’s stewardship, the program focuses on women between 25 and 40 years, verified through unique disability cards by Youth for Jobs.
Gautam Adani took to X to mark the occasion, coinciding with Diva and Jeet’s wedding anniversary. He expressed deep satisfaction in the initiative’s progress, noting its role in infusing hope and respect into families. ‘As a father, I feel blessed seeing my children spread joy alongside their own happiness,’ he wrote, praying for its continued expansion.
Hosted at Shantigram’s Belvedere Club Lawn, the anniversary event included a book launch showcasing beneficiary success stories. Dr. Priti Adani articulated the philosophy: personal happiness gains true meaning when extended to community welfare. This ethos powers the five-year plan, backed by Rs 50 crore yearly, partnering with SBI for seamless FD implementation.
Adani Mangal Seva exemplifies how targeted interventions can foster empowerment. By prioritizing financial independence, it challenges societal barriers, offering not just aid but opportunities for dignified living. As it scales, it promises to redefine corporate social responsibility in India.
