Ayodhya’s spiritual heavyweight, Jagatguru Paramhans Acharya, has unleashed fury over Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati’s provocative statements against UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Equating the chief minister to historical tyrants like Mughal emperors, the swami has ignited a firestorm, prompting Acharya to declare Ayodhya off-limits to him without an unconditional apology.
In a pointed interview, Acharya described the comments as a grave affront to Sanatan values. ‘Yogi isn’t merely a politician; he’s our spiritual guardian as Goraksha Peethadheeshwar. This vulgar comparison has enraged every devotee,’ he thundered from the holy city.
Hailing Yogi’s governance as a beacon for Uttar Pradesh’s renaissance, Acharya emphasized that dissent must never cross into personal vilification. He dissected the swami’s gau raksha agitation, calling it narrow-sighted and opposition-fueled. ‘Limiting protection to cows alone ignores the full bovine family. Bulls and calves continue to suffer,’ Acharya critiqued, advocating for comprehensive legal safeguards by declaring all cows a protected heritage.
Labeling the campaign a political ploy to destabilize the state, Acharya urged the Sanatan community to shun the swami socially and religiously. As this feud brews in Ram’s sacred land, it raises questions about unity among saints amid political undercurrents, with Yogi’s stature only growing stronger.
