In a bold pivot from Bollywood glamour to spiritual awakening, Ishika Taneja has launched the Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyan, urging young Indians to embrace Sanatana Dharma. The former actress, transformed by Mahakumbh, founded this under Sri Mahalakshmi Foundation to celebrate Lakshmi’s eight forms in modern life.
In an in-depth conversation, Ishika outlined how Gajalakshmi symbolizes political leaders, Veeralakshmi the military, Vijayalakshmi judiciary, Santanlakshmi youth, and more. ‘This campaign bridges these with dharma, reaching eight states and attracting global interest. Sanatana Dharma’s inclusivity draws even foreigners,’ she shared.
Commenting on the February 1 budget, Ishika hailed it as a reflection of Hindu values. ‘Like our eternal faith, it’s comprehensive, presented auspiciously on a full moon Sunday. Expect rupee strength and dollar decline, fostering widespread growth.’
Addressing Hindu Rashtra aspirations, she stressed cultural revival. ‘True nationhood comes from recognizing roots and viewing Lakshmi through seva, countering global misconceptions of corruption. Our abhiyan will unite all sections under saffron cheers.’
Ishika’s past credits include films like ‘Indu Sarkar’ and music videos, but post-Mahakumbh 2025, she’s fully committed to this cause. The campaign promises a fresh wave of spiritual nationalism.
