In a stirring address at a state-level teachers’ conference in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav celebrated the renaissance of government schools. Hosted by teacher unions at Subhash Utkrisht Vidyalaya, the event spotlighted dramatic strides: soaring exam pass rates, record-breaking enrollments, and the complete elimination of student dropouts.
‘Teachers are the beacons who selflessly light up young minds,’ Yadav said, invoking timeless reverence for educators amid changing eras. He congratulated the teaching fraternity for propelling these historic gains through sheer dedication.
Yadav spotlighted elite institutions like Sandipani and PM Shri Schools as pioneers of excellence, announcing the launch of 200 new Sandipani Vidyalayas this academic year. Leading the charge on NEP 2020, the state is integrating cutting-edge subjects such as AI and coding to equip students for tomorrow’s challenges.
The government has spared no effort in safeguarding teachers’ welfare, promising further enhancements. Unions showered praise on the CM with warm felicitations, while he personally honored veterans including his former physics tutor Kokila Sen, Badri Prasad Tiwari, and others. The gesture of seeking his guru’s blessings moved the audience.
Reflecting on MP’s legacy of luminaries nurtured by mentors—from freedom fighters to ancient rulers—Yadav linked it to today’s vision under PM Modi. ‘Gurus have always resolved society’s dilemmas through their disciples,’ he noted. The conference, attended by Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh and union heads, reinforced teachers’ indispensable role in nation-building.
