Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a pivotal address at the NCC PM Rally on Wednesday at Delhi’s Kariappa Parade Ground, capping off the vibrant NCC Republic Day Camp 2026. Over 2,400 cadets, with nearly 900 girls among them, have participated in this intensive month-long program, embodying the spirit of youth empowerment.
With the theme ‘Nation First – Duty-Bound Youth,’ the event celebrates discipline and national loyalty. International participation from 207 delegates across 21 nations elevates the rally’s stature, fostering cross-border camaraderie.
Expect a dazzling array of cultural presentations by NCC cadets, National Stadium athletes, and NSS members, spotlighting their contributions to societal growth and self-improvement. PM Modi’s speech on national priority and character development is anticipated to resonate deeply with attendees.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during his camp inspection, lauded cadets as India’s vital secondary defense force. He referenced their impactful involvement in Operation Sindoor awareness drills, calling for similar proactive patriotism. In today’s volatile world, Singh stressed the need for youth to build unyielding physical, mental, and emotional fortitude.
Reflecting on Operation Sindoor, he recounted the precision strikes against terrorists in Pakistan and PoK, avenging the Pahalgam terror strike. ‘Precision and poise defined our response—strong soldiers made it possible,’ Singh affirmed.
NCC, he asserted, cultivates discipline and patriotism while combating attention deficits, equipping youth for success in diverse fields from military service to professional excellence, ultimately driving national advancement.
