In the wake of a suspicious death of a medical entrance exam student in a Patna hostel, Bihar Minister Sanjay Kumar Singh has reacted forcefully. He denounced the episode as a criminal outrage that troubles society and misleads the youth.
During an interview, Singh detailed the state’s rapid response: a dedicated SIT has been set up under the Home Minister’s orders. ‘Justice will be impartial, and offenders will be behind bars soon,’ he affirmed, underlining the administration’s commitment.
The minister also highlighted the plight of Hindus facing violence in Bangladesh, deeming it a grave misfortune. He pressed for central intervention to protect Indian-origin residents there, directly requesting the Union Home Minister to act.
Turning to politics, Singh extended best wishes to Nitin Nabin, his former cabinet colleague, on his elevation to party national chief. He lauded Nabin’s simplicity and cordiality, noting it’s a moment of glory for Bihar.
Singh took a dig at Digvijay Singh’s claim that RSS intimidates Hindus, calling it absurd and unworthy of a veteran leader. ‘It’s more funny than serious,’ he remarked, brushing it off.
