In a shocking turn of events in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, a woman’s life was cut short by her immediate family members following a dispute over her lifestyle choices. The victim, Durga Chaudhary, was reportedly a chronic drinker, a habit that her husband and daughter had repeatedly asked her to abandon. Tensions reached a breaking point on the evening of December 29, when a verbal spat turned into a deadly encounter. In a fit of rage, the husband and daughter attacked the woman, inflicting severe physical trauma. Neighbors alerted the authorities, and the victim was transported to a medical facility in critical condition. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, Durga Chaudhary passed away. The police have registered a case of murder and have successfully apprehended both the husband and the daughter.
