MADHYA PRADESH’S leadership is betting big on artificial intelligence to propel the state and nation towards unprecedented growth. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, in his keynote at an AI innovation forum, declared that AI-powered advancements are indispensable for realizing India’s dream of a developed nation by 2047.
Delving into specifics, Yadav showcased how AI is revolutionizing Madhya Pradesh’s economy. In agriculture, machine learning algorithms are optimizing irrigation and pest control, boosting farmer incomes by up to 30%. Healthcare sees AI chatbots providing 24/7 consultations in remote areas, bridging urban-rural divides.
The CM stressed the need for policy frameworks that encourage ethical AI deployment. ‘Our goal is AI for all, not just for the elite,’ he remarked, announcing new incentives for AI startups in the state. These include tax breaks and dedicated incubators in Bhopal and Indore.
Yadav also addressed global competition, positioning India as an AI powerhouse. With over 5,000 AI patents filed annually and a talent pool of millions, the country is ready to innovate. He urged educational reforms to integrate AI curricula from school levels.
