Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has called for strict legal action against a Congress politician accused of using abusive language against a municipal commissioner. During a conversation with the Chief Secretary, Kumaraswamy highlighted the need for an environment where bureaucrats can work without fear. He argued that if a leader from the ruling party can openly insult a high-ranking official, it sets a dangerous precedent for the state’s administration. The JD(S) leader insisted that an arrest is necessary to restore the morale of the workforce and ensure that law and order are maintained regardless of political affiliations.
