As Palamu grapples with intensifying cold waves and dropping temperatures, local representatives and social workers are stepping up to provide essential aid. In Ward No. 33 (Semartand Kalyanpur) of Medininagar Municipal Corporation, a vital blanket distribution drive was organized for the underprivileged, including the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable residents. The initiative saw officials and community leaders come together to offer much-needed warmth. Representatives from various levels, including the Member of Parliament’s representative, the MLA’s representative, Municipal Corporation’s Tehsildar, and a prominent social worker, jointly distributed the blankets.
