On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, BJP workers gathered in Giridih to pay their respects. At the residence of BJP State Working Committee member Suresh Sav in Shastri Nagar, attendees offered floral tributes to a portrait of the revered leader. Suresh Sav highlighted Vajpayee’s profound impact on Indian politics, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to national interest above all else. Born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior, Vajpayee was remembered not just as a skilled administrator but also as a charismatic orator, a sensitive poet, and a visionary leader. His tenure saw groundbreaking decisions in national development and security. Key achievements, including the Pokhran nuclear tests, the Golden Quadrilateral project, and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, alongside a balanced foreign policy, were recalled. Vajpayee’s concept of good governance continues to inspire public service and administration even today. Sav further elaborated that Vajpayee provided a governance model that integrated cultural nationalism, propelling India’s progress from becoming a nuclear power to establishing good governance and advancing heritage and science. His vision is instrumental in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
