Aman Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar Sah and Shobha Devi from Sahibganj, has been awarded an MA in Hindi Literature at the prestigious 105th Convocation Ceremony of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi. Aman’s academic journey began at N.R.P. Center, followed by completing his matriculation from East Railway High School, Sahibganj, in 2018. He pursued his intermediate studies in science from Sahibganj College in 2020, and subsequently earned his bachelor’s degree in Hindi Literature in 2023. Driven by a lifelong passion for Hindi literature, Aman aspired to pursue his postgraduate studies at BHU. He successfully cleared the CUET exam in 2023, securing admission to the MA Hindi Literature program. Notably, Aman has demonstrated exceptional academic prowess by clearing the UGC NET (Assistant Professor) exam three times. Beyond academics, he possesses a keen interest in writing, showcasing his poetic talents on various literary platforms. His upcoming works include the Varanasi-centric novel ‘Banarasi Pan’ and the poetry collection ‘Parampara Se Muthbhed.’ Aman believes literature, music, and art are vital for personal development, fostering positivity, and enabling contributions to society. He expressed concern over the declining reading culture among youth, attributing it to an over-reliance on electronic gadgets, which he feels hinders creativity and diligence. Aman has also been actively involved in social and national initiatives, leading district representations in numerous events like the National Integration Camp, National Youth Festival, and State Youth Festival. His participation includes leadership roles as a Water Warrior in the Republic Day Parade on Kartavya Path and undergoing Ganga Praihari Spearhead Training in Biodiversity Conservation at the Wildlife Institute of India. Aman attributes his success to his mentors, parents, sisters Baby Gupta and Anchal Kumari, and his supportive friends and well-wishers.
