Ranchi is gearing up to host a significant Rotary District Conference from December 19th to 21st. Organized by the Rotary Club of Ranchi, the three-day event will take place at the Ranchi Club premises. Over 1500 delegates representing 125 Rotary clubs from Jharkhand and Bihar are expected to attend. Preparations for this grand assembly have been underway for the past year, with Rotarians across Ranchi dedicated to its success. The conference will be graced by the presence of Past Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta as the chief guest. Esteemed dignitaries, including Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Union Minister of State for Defence and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Jaykumar Rawal, Nilendu Kumar Singh (CMD, CCL), and Rotary International President’s Representative Ravi Raman, will also be present. The event promises insightful sessions with contributions from various leaders, including Past Rotary International Director Kamal Sanghvi, Foundation Chairman Mahesh Kothari, senior IAS officer Rohit Singh, renowned actress Sudha Chandran, and cyber expert Mahima Bhalotiya. Rotarians will engage in discussions on social activities, new projects, club strengthening, future plans, and proposals. Special sessions will focus on critical areas like education, health, sanitation, and community service, offering a valuable platform for members to learn, share experiences, and forge new connections. The cultural vibrant atmosphere will feature performances by Mumbai’s Rose Mary Group, Aadhishakti Musical Group, IFRM Group, and Chhau dancers, further enhancing the spirit of knowledge, service, education, and entertainment. This conference aims to significantly boost ongoing social service initiatives.
