Koderma witnessed a significant educational event today as Modern Public School organized a grand educational fair aimed at guiding students toward their future careers. The fair was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon by the Chief Guest, Dr. Neera Yadav, a prominent MLA from Koderma.
The event saw the esteemed presence of Mr. S.K. Jindal, Chairman of GRGI Haryana, and Mr. Tushar Roy, District Sports Officer of Koderma, among other distinguished guests. The Chief Guest, Dr. Neera Yadav, along with the school’s Director, Sangeeta Sharma, and Principal, Gurucharan Verma, were accorded a warm welcome by the school’s band group and scouts.
Approximately 25 colleges and institutions from across the nation participated in the fair, offering valuable guidance and counseling on higher education to students. The event drew a crowd of around 1500 students from various schools in the district.
Participating institutions included renowned names such as Global Research of Institutions (Haryana), Amity University (Jharkhand), Institute of Engineering & Management (Kolkata), Jain University (Bangalore), IILM University (Greater Noida), Marwadi University (Gujarat), DBS Global University (Dehradun), Chandigarh Group of Colleges (Punjab), Roorkee Institute of Technology, RKDF University (Jharkhand), ICFAI University (Jharkhand), Sage University (Indore-Bhopal), Reva University (Bangalore), Pimpri Chinchwad University (Pune), and Kalinga University (Raipur), among others.
This fair proved immensely beneficial for the students, who visited various stalls to gather detailed information about post-12th-grade studies, choosing subjects aligned with their skills, future prospects, and employment opportunities. Students actively engaged with representatives, seeking answers to their queries and resolving their doubts.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Neera Yadav emphasized the importance of organizing such educational fairs regularly to enable students to make informed career decisions. She highlighted that selecting the right stream based on individual abilities and skills is crucial for progress, and these events provide excellent avenues for such guidance.
Principal Gurucharan Verma expressed that students were delighted with the satisfactory answers to their higher education queries and are now better equipped to move forward. Director Sangeeta Sharma deemed the fair highly useful and assured that Modern Public School would continue to organize more beneficial programs for students in the future. The entire school fraternity played a commendable role in ensuring the event’s success.
