Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI) in Ranchi recently observed the Mahaparinirvan Diwas, commemorating the death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. The event saw a heartfelt tribute led by Director (Technical/CRD) Shankar Nagachari, who paid floral respects to Dr. Ambedkar’s statue. Senior officials, department heads, and a large number of employees from CMPDI’s Ranchi headquarters and Regional Institute-3 were present, uniting to honor the visionary leader.
During the observance, Nagachari highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s profound contributions, emphasizing that Mahaparinirvan Diwas serves as a poignant reminder of his lifelong dedication to equality, social justice, and constitutional ideals. He noted that Dr. Ambedkar’s teachings and philosophies continue to guide society today.
Encouraging the attendees, Nagachari urged them to embody and strengthen democratic values in their professional and personal lives, drawing inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring principles.
