President Donald Trump has asserted that his administration has successfully resolved eight conflicts around the globe, highlighting a recent peace agreement between Congo and Rwanda, which he stated was facilitated by the United States. He specifically commended the leaders of both nations for their decision to grant U.S. government and American companies access to the region’s crucial mineral resources. Trump expressed optimism about his administration’s ability to broker a peace settlement between Russia and Ukraine, stating, ‘We’ll get there eventually.’ He pointed to the significant loss of life in the ongoing conflict, noting the thousands of soldiers killed recently and emphasizing the urgency to stop the bloodshed. The President also announced an expansion of U.S. security vetting for H-1B and H-4 visa applicants, requiring them to make all social media profiles public for review. This enhanced digital scrutiny, already applied to other visa categories, will now include these workers and their dependents, with reviews commencing in mid-December.
