Hazaribagh’s St. Columbus Mission Hospital recently concluded its two-day free health fair, providing essential medical services to 1323 individuals. The event, held opposite the Rabindra Path electricity office, saw 651 patients on the first day and 672 on the second. Specialized doctors offered a range of free services including consultations, blood pressure checks, cancer screenings, free medications, dental examinations, eye check-ups, and blood sugar and hemoglobin tests. Neurologist consultations, a complimentary meal, and discounted ultrasound services were also available, ensuring comprehensive care for all attendees. The camp successfully reached a large number of needy children, women, and men who benefited greatly from the accessible healthcare. Hospital director Dr. Praveen Srinivasan emphasized the initiative’s goal to extend quality healthcare to everyone, especially those facing financial barriers to timely treatment. He affirmed the hospital’s commitment to regular camps aimed at raising health awareness and fulfilling community medical needs. The event also focused on educating the public about various diseases, with a dedicated team of specialist doctors and healthcare staff contributing significantly to its success.
