A devastating accident occurred in Ranchi, Jharkhand, early Saturday morning when a car plunged into the Dhurwa Dam. Three police personnel, including two bodyguards for the Principal District Judge of Jamshedpur and a government driver, lost their lives in the incident. The victims have been identified as Upendra Kumar Singh, Robin Kujur, and Satendra Singh. Reports indicate that the group was traveling near Dhurwa Dam late Friday night when their vehicle reportedly lost control and veered into the water body. Local residents alerted authorities after witnessing the car’s rapid descent into the dam. Emergency services, including police and divers, responded swiftly and worked for several hours to retrieve the vehicle and the deceased. The car was eventually pulled from the dam, revealing the tragic outcome and also recovering two police weapons. Investigations into the exact cause of the accident are currently underway, with police examining the vehicle and gathering details about the trio’s journey from the Judicial Academy towards Dhurwa Dam.
