In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir Police have successfully intercepted a substantial cache of weapons and explosives in Faridabad, Haryana. Sources report the recovery of two additional AK-47 rifles and approximately 350 kilograms of high-grade explosives. This crucial seizure is a direct result of intelligence gathered from a second doctor detained in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Anantnag Government Medical College. Earlier, one AK-47 rifle was found in the locker of a doctor at the Anantnag facility. The subsequent detention of another medical professional led to these further critical discoveries. Authorities are expected to release more detailed information regarding the investigation and the implications of these seizures shortly. This operation highlights the persistent efforts to thwart potential terror threats originating from or connected to the region.
