Tata Motors has significantly enhanced its popular Nexon SUV by integrating advanced safety technologies, including the much-anticipated Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This move reinforces the Nexon’s already stellar safety reputation, as it proudly holds dual 5-star safety ratings from both GNCAP and BNCAP, making it a leader in vehicle security. The introduction of ADAS promises to further elevate the driving experience by providing drivers with intelligent alerts and automatic interventions to prevent potential accidents.
Complementing the technological advancements, Tata Motors has also unveiled the exclusive Nexon Red Dark Edition. This stylish new variant is available across all three powertrain options: petrol, diesel, and CNG. The Red Dark Edition starts with an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.44 lakh, offering customers a compelling blend of aggressive styling, robust performance, and cutting-edge safety. This launch underscores Tata Motors’ commitment to delivering vehicles that excel in safety, performance, and aesthetic appeal for the Indian market.
The ADAS suite brings a host of intelligent features designed to act as a co-pilot on the road. These include Forward Collision Warning (FCW) to alert drivers of potential front impacts, and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) for automatic braking in critical situations. Drivers will also benefit from Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Centering System (LCS) for maintaining lane discipline, Lane Keep Assist (LKA) for subtle steering corrections, High Beam Assist (HBA) for optimal night driving visibility, and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) to keep drivers informed of road signage. These features collectively aim to reduce driver fatigue and enhance overall road safety, positioning the Nexon as a benchmark in its segment.
