The leaders explored avenues for strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. Due to Diwali festivities in India, Prime Minister Modi will attend the summit virtually, a decision respected by PM Ibrahim, who conveyed Deepavali wishes to him and the people of India. Malaysia, as the host of the 47th ASEAN Summit, aims to foster regional peace, economic strength, and sustainable growth under the theme ‘Inclusivity and Sustainability’. The summit will bring together over 30 world leaders, concluding with the handover of the ASEAN Chairmanship to the Philippines.
